User Data Deletion

How to Delete Your Data

If you have connected your Instagram or Facebook account to Orbit Workspace and wish to completely delete your data, you can do so in two simple ways:

1Option A: Direct In-App Disconnect

Log into your Orbit Dashboard, navigate to the Accounts section, and click Disconnect. All encrypted tokens and account references are deleted immediately from the database.

2Option B: Facebook Account Settings (Automated Callback)
  1. Go to your Facebook Profile → Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate Orbit Workspace and click Remove.
  4. Check the box to request deletion of all associated data and confirm.
  5. Facebook will immediately dispatch a signed request to our secure callback, initiating instant purging.

What Data is Deleted

Upon receiving a deletion request, the following records are immediately and permanently wiped:

  • Encrypted Instagram Graph API Access Tokens (`ig_tokens` table)
  • Connected account metadata and profile records (`accounts` table)
  • Scheduled drafts and pending media queue items
  • Cached analytical performance snapshots
